Ca l’Amador’s Restaurant was opened on July 7, 2000. Located in Josa de Cadí, one of the few villages in the Cadí Moixeró Natural Park, Diego and his parents (Diego and Virginia) started a new project for their lives and they started the history of Ca l’Amador’s Restaurant. It must be said that the family has always had a great bond with Josa de Cadí: the ancestral house where the restaurant is located was the grandparents’ house and therefore this area is unknown to them.

Diego, from an early age, wanted to be a cook and have a restaurant in Josa, studied 5 years in the hospitality industry and continued his apprenticeship for another 5 years, gaining experience in large restaurants, until at 22 he opened this restaurant with his parents, who had all their life in salt fishing shops.

From the first moment Diego opted for a very personal cuisine without forgetting the place or the taste of being located in the Pyrenees. And since 2012, Roger has joined his desire and his strength with the Ca l’Amador project, Roger has also studied for 3 years in the hospitality industry and for 5 years he has been learning in large restaurants, his bond with Josa also comes to him. As a kid, Roger’s parents make the fabulous Ossera cheese and it must be said that his first job was at 16 in Ca l’Amador.

Thus, and as you can see, the cuisine of Ca l’Amdor is PERSONAL, DARE, RESPETUOSA, CURIOSA AND TRADITIONAL !!!
