Currently the Trementinaires are the main tourist product of the Valley. It is already impossible to untie the binomial of the Vall de la Vansa – Tuixent i trementinaires. Not only is their lifestyle and economy of interest, but also their remedies, the plants they use and their properties. As a result of this growing interest and the highlight of this offer, in March 2014 was born the Center of Flora of the Natural Park of the Cadí Moixeró.

It is a facility managed jointly between the Cadí Moixeró Natural Park and the Tuixent Town Hall. With a double objective: to spread and raise awareness in society of the importance of these most popular (folk) plants, but also to bring them closer to the knowledge of a large number of other plants, not so well known for their lack of relation. with the turpentines and the popular tradition, but of major importance in our country, as many of them are endemic to our Valley or are strictly protected.
