Tuixent
Tuixent
The Museum of the Trementinaires, inaugurated in December 1998, is part of the Route of Crafts yesterday, promoted by the County Council of Alt Urgell, and is located in the town of Tuixent.
A visit to this museum will allow us to find out who the turpentines were, what herbs and remedies they marketed and how they organized their routes, always on foot, from the Vansa i Tuixent valley, to the plains inland and the coast of Catalonia.
If you are interested in the world of plants and in particular medicinal plants, you can also enjoy a tour of the Urban Garden of the Trementinaires located on the streets of Tuixent, or on the outskirts of the village you can visit the Botanical Garden of the Trementinaires where you will discover many of the plants of our environment and know their properties and characteristics.
OPEN Saturdays and Holidays from 10am to 2pm and from 5pm to 8pm.
Sundays from 10am to 2pm.
